Exercise for Sleep Quality and Weight Loss
Quality and quantity of sleep is a major public health issues and affects countless individuals. Lack of sleep has been shown to increase risk of high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attack, heart failure or stroke (1). CSE, in partnership with Belun® Technology, have designed this 8-week exercise intervention that not only aims to increase your physical activity, fitness levels and help control weight, but also to help improving sleep quality.
The award winning Belun® Ring with its AI sleep platform is a medical grade medical device that can track your sleep health and pre-screens for Obstructive Sleep Apnea comfortably at home.
Before the 8-week program, you will wear the Belun® Ring whilst sleeping at home to establish a series of baseline sleep measurements. You will know exactly how your sleep went and thus more able to identify potential problems with Belun® Sleep Specialists, to then create an individualized sleep solution plan that suits your specific needs.
After also completing the gold-standard DXA body composition scan, you will then engage in an 8-week training intervention with CSE Exercise Specialists. Training will be conducted using various monitoring system to ensure effective workout. You will also wear the Belun® Ring for several days each week throughout the period to closely monitor sleep quality. A post-training assessment will be conducted to conclude effectiveness of the training intervention.
